My TLH is really a condo. But is truely tiny, only 450 square feet, but it's mine and I love it.
It's been a bit of a up and down road to finding my TLH. I didn't even originally plan starting to look for a home until one day I saw a condo on Trulia that I liked, so I sent an e-mail to some of the site promoted realtors. I ended up choosing an agent with Long and Foster, who just happened responded first and was really great and attentive.
I saw about 20 different places, some were great, others were not so great. I ended up putting offers on 4 different places, was under contract on one place but the contract fell through on my end due to me being unable to get financing (I even did a home inspection). So after this heartbreak I decided to stop searching for a while and save some more. That is until my agent, off the cuff, found an awesome condo in my perfect building. But, it was a studio with a huge patio, I put an offer on it but was outbid.
But turns out that there was another unit in the building, that is the same exact size but without the patio. It had to be fate. So after thinking about it for a week or so, I decided to put an offer. My real estate agent was out of town so I worked with his mother, also an agent, to put an offer on the place. And after a very short negotiation, I found out that my offer was accepted!!! That was Wednesday.
Yesterday morning, I had my home inspection with Mid-Atlantic Inspectors.
